Nrich Project |
The project focuses on the teaching of problem solving in mathematics. Currently teachers from Brynmill Primary, YGG Lon Las and Newton Primary are involved with the project and are using it as part of their transition work. The project runs for a year and those teachers who take part receive funding to attend three conferences and have a visit each term from Sara Longbottom who teaches a lesson in their classrooms. Sara is currently recruiting teachers for next year’s project to start in September 2010. If you are interested in joining, either individually or as a cluster of schools, then contact Sara directly on sara@techniquest.org or talk to one of the maths team. |
